Ethyl acetate
This week, the capacity utilization rate of ethyl acetate was 41.98%, a decrease of 0.38% from last week, and a decrease of 0.90 percentage points from the previous month. During the week, Yankuang’s Lunan installations underwent round inspections, Shandong Jinyimeng and Jiangsu Thorpe installations restarted, Lier’an and Zhuhai Qianxin’s loads were adjusted, and the start-up of the ethyl acetate industry fell within a narrow range.
Glacial acetic acid
Manufacturers have no inventory pressure and still have the willingness to raise prices, while downstream users are not motivated to purchase spot goods under the influence of bearish sentiment. It is expected that the glacial acetic acid market will be stalemate today.
In the North China glacial acetic acid market, the factory inventory was low, and the offers were deadlocked, but the transaction was not good, and the downstream spot purchases were cautious, and the focus of negotiations fell.
Hydrogen peroxide
Beginning in July, terminal demand picked up, and the supply of hydrogen peroxide from manufacturers became tighter. The price of hydrogen peroxide rose sharply, up 53.19% from the beginning of July. The main reason is that the shutdown of major factories has not started, the supply of hydrogen peroxide in the market is tight, the demand for terminal purchases increases, and the market transactions are relatively fast. Manufacturers have raised the ex-factory price of hydrogen peroxide one after another.
It is difficult to restore the supply of hydrogen peroxide in the short term, and it is expected that the hydrogen peroxide market will continue to run at a high level in the market outlook.
