It is expected that the price of maleic anhydride may continue to rise, but limited by weak demand, the upside is expected to be limited.
Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash)
Last week, the domestic soda ash market was stable and improving, and manufacturers shipped smoothly. The equipment of Hunan Jinfuyuan Alkali Industry is normal. There are not many manufacturers for reduction and maintenance at present. The overall operating load of the industry is high. Most manufacturers have sufficient orders and the overall inventory level is low. Manufacturers intend to raise prices. The downstream demand of heavy alkali is just improving, the downstream demand of light alkali is sluggish, and the overall cost pressure of the downstream of soda ash is relatively obvious. The short-term domestic soda ash spot market may continue to stabilize and improve.
Caustic Soda
Last week, domestic caustic soda prices were mainly on the sidelines, and the shipping prices of caustic soda in various places did not change much, and market participants were cautious. The efficiency of caustic soda logistics and transportation in Xinjiang is still average, and short-term operations are often arranged.
Glacial Acetic Acid
Looking at it today, although many sets of glacial acetic acid plants are in low-load operation or shut down, the glacial acetic acid market still lacks support due to the lack of downstream demand. It is expected that the glacial acetic acid market will be weak today.
