Product Use Description
1. Butanol is mainly used in the manufacture of phthalic acid, aliphatic dibasic acid and phosphoric acid ester plasticizers, which are widely used in various plastic and rubber products.
2. It is the raw material for the production of butyraldehyde, butyric acid, butylamine and butyl lactate in organic synthesis.
3. It is an extractant of oils, drugs (such as antibiotics, hormones and vitamins) and spices, an additive of alkyd resin coatings, etc.
4. Butanol can be used as a solvent and dewaxing agent for organic dyes and printing inks.
